With our new, modern, and environmentally friendly trains, now is the perfect time to join us as we elevate the customer travel experience.Join Our Team as a Timetable Capacity & Demand Analysis ManagerAbout the RoleWe are seeking a proactive analytics and strategy professional to support the design and development of initiatives that optimize demand and capacity across Greater Anglia. Using analysis and insights from passenger usage and other data sources, you will drive initiatives to deliver the most efficient match between demand and train capacity and make the case for investment in rail services across the region.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic direction for demand and capacity projects using historic and future projections; support decision-making forums related to timetable and capacity.Ensure consistent collection of train passenger loading data to business requirements, working with internal and external suppliers to maximize coverage and data quality.Analyze passenger demand data to determine appropriate capacity on Greater Anglia services and support cross-functional decision making.Collaborate with Commercial, Train Planning and Fleet teams to develop short- and long-term capacity requirements; present recommendations to decision-making forums (e.g., Timetable Steering Group).Produce periodic reports for the Timetable Capacity & Demand Group and the business (e.g., Green Book Counts) and model the impact of timetable changes on demand and revenue to support business cases for positive improvements;Support data and systems needs: liaise with Revenue Management and Data Strategy teams to optimize use of Count data, assist with rolling stock and gating/timetabling projects, and provide cross-team support as needed.Skills, Knowledge & ExpertiseHave a friendly, approachable demeanor with the ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communication.Are passionate about the future of rail growth in the Anglia region.Highly numerate, with strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with and present complex data to in a clear and concise manner.Experienced in analysing data, identifying trends, and articulating these to make business improvements.Possess a can-do attitude and enjoy working as part of a teamConfident in building relationships with stakeholders across the business with the ability to coach, influence and negotiate at all levels.Are calm under pressure, able to think on their feet, and able to handle various situationsCandidates should be well-organised with the ability to prioritise workloads, and skilled in managing and analysing passenger count data as well as evaluating passenger demand timetable models.Have team spirit and bring your unique self to strengthen our team and foster a positive work environment.A problem solver, as the role will encounter many different situations, whilst always maintaining integrity.Job BenefitsTravel Discounts: Enjoy free travel on Greater Anglia and 75% off with other train operators, plus discounts for eligible family members too!International Adventures: After 12 months, unlock discounted international travel for you and your family.Exclusive Discounts: Access the GA Hapi App for deals on shopping, dining, and fun days out.Vouchers for Loved Ones: Get 12 annual discount vouchers for family and friends to enjoy.Wellbeing Support: 24/7 employee assistance, eyecare vouchers, flu jabs, and physiotherapy services.Pension Perks: Start with a Defined Contribution pension, with the option to upgrade to a Final Salary pension after 2 years.Family-Friendly Policies: We've got you covered with maternity, paternity, adoption leave, and shared parental leave after 26 weeks.Save While You Spend: Cycle to work and tech purchase schemes once you pass probation.At Greater Anglia we are proud of the work that we do.
