Main Responsibilities: Gas Installations Fit new gas appliances in homes and small commercial properties. Install or alter gas pipework safely and efficiently to meet current standards. Servicing & Maintenance Carry out annual services on boilers and gas appliances. Check system performance, identify faults, and make adjustments where needed. Repairs Diagnose and repair breakdowns on boilers, fires, and heating systems. Work quickly and neatly to minimise disruption to customers. Safety & Compliance Work in line with all current gas and building regulations. Complete gas safety checks and issue CP12 certificates where required. Follow company health and safety procedures at all times. Documentation Keep accurate records for each job, including certificates and service reports. Submit job sheets and timesheets promptly after each visit. Requirements: Qualifications: Must hold current Gas Safe registration. ACS qualifications required: CCN1 (Core Gas Safety) CEN1 (Central Heating Boilers) CPA1 (Combustion Analysis) Additional qualifications such as COCN1 (Commercial), LPG, or unvented hot water are an advantage. Experience: Proven experience in domestic or light commercial gas work, covering installs, servicing, and breakdowns. Previous subcontractor or self-employed experience preferred. Skills: Strong understanding of gas safety and relevant regulations. Confident fault-finding and repair skills. Able to work independently and manage your own workload.
