Mechanical Project Manager Building Services Installation 55k - 65k (Dependent on Relevant Experience) Car Allowance Additional Benefits Company Wellness Scheme 21 Days Holiday Company Pensions The Electrical Project Manager Role This company is a leading provider of M&E Services, providing our clients with innovative M&E engineering solutions. This role will support the Operations team in the management of all operational issues, including the management and development of their team. The role of Project Manager will assume overall responsibility for the management of a number of contracts. Therefore, it is critical that the successful candidates can demonstrate significant experience in managing multiple projects at any one time, with core time management, technical, planning and communication skills required, whilst ensuring all needs of the project are delivered. Working with the Operations team, the Project Manager will be responsible for managing contracts commercial forecasting as well as the management of sub-contractors and materials (in conjunction with procurement department) in order to produce relevant procurement schedules. The Successful Mechanical Project Manager Role The individual is also likely to have c3 years business experience with evidence of solid career progression. It is also desirable that candidates have experience in running large contracts with values ranging from c50k c2m. Attend, and chair where appropriate, meetings with the Client, the designers, specialist contractors and other team members. Contribute to the regular Project Report, and attend Project Meetings. Review designers and contractors drawings for completeness of information and compliance with contract requirements (specification, ER, etc.). Check ongoing installation for compliance with contract requirements (specification, drawings etc.) Provide expertise in planning and executing the building services engineering commissioning. Responsible for the services engineering works on their projects in conjunction with the project team. Produce monthly Engineering Services Status Reports on their projects, Provide guidance in the production of the project programme. Contribute Value Engineering skills. Vet and propose specialist contractors, systems and manufacturers for projects. Contribute engineering services content to proposal team for inclusion in Tender Proposals. Represent the company at Pre-qualification, Pre-tender and Tender meetings and presentations. Take on the role of mentor to junior engineers The successful candidates must: Be flexible in terms of hours work Hold a fullUKdriving licence Be computer literate, be fully IT literate in MS Word and Excel (at intermediate level) Recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering or other appropriate engineering subject.
