Join us to play a pivotal role in safeguarding our infrastructure, applications, and data.Youll manage and optimise key tools like CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, and Intune, contribute to compliance efforts, and help us stay ahead of evolving threats.This is a technically rich role working closely with ICT leadership, engineers, and external partnersperfect for someone who wants to make a real impact.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and optimise CrowdStrike Falcon for threat detection and responseInvestigate, triage, and remediate security incidents and vulnerabilitiesSupport patching, scanning, and integration of threat intelligenceImprove technical security controls across networks, endpoints, and cloudAssist in designing secure configurations for systems and servicesCollaborate on compliance audits and internal security documentationKey SkillsStrong understanding of core cybersecurity principles and threat vectorsUnderstanding of risk frameworks such as Cyber Essentials+, ISO 27001, CIS, PCI-DSSExperience with EDR/XDR platforms - Crowdstrike FalconProficiency with Microsoft security stack (Defender, Intune, MFA, etc.)Solid grasp of patch management and vulnerability assessmentAbility to interpret logs and alerts to assess threat responseClear communicator with the ability to explain risk to non-technical teamsDesirable SkillsFamiliarity with SIEM tools (e.g. Sentinel, Splunk)Scripting/automation knowledge (e.g. PowerShell, Python)Understanding of data protection and privacy frameworks (e.g. UK GDPR)In return the successful candidate and expect hybrid working 2 days per week on-site and a salary of 40,000-45,000 depending on experience.If you are interested then please apply today.Unfortunately there is no sponsorship with this opportunity.
