Ideal maintenance background Driving license Role Overview The Aircraft Mechanical Fitter plays a vital role in supporting the UK Military Flying Training System's rotary wing operations. Based at RAF Shawbury, this hands-on position involves maintaining and servicing the H135/H145 helicopter fleet to ensure optimal performance and safety. Though non-certifying, the role is essential to the daily functioning of flight operations and maintenance activities.
