With a focus on Microsoft and AWS security, the team partners with enterprise and public sector organisations to strengthen their security posture and enable safe, scalable cloud transformation.As a Senior Security Consultant, you will play a leading role in shaping the security strategy of UK and international clients. You will deliver cloud security consultancy, architecture reviews and risk assessments across Azure and AWS, working directly with customers to design pragmatic, compliant and resilient solutions. You will also collaborate closely with internal SOC, Engineering and Governance teams to enhance detection, strengthen response and influence service evolution.Why This Role Stands Out• Join a $1B global technology provider with a growing, high performing Cyber Defence practice• Deliver consultancy that directly impacts cloud security strategy for enterprise clients• Influence technical direction and help shape new advisory service offerings• Up to £85,000 base salary with bonus and comprehensive benefits• Funded training, certifications and professional development support• Hybrid working, flexible hours and a culture built on trust, inclusion and wellbeingWhat You’ll Be Doing• Delivering expert level security consultancy and assurance services across Azure and AWS environments• Performing cloud security posture assessments, gap analyses and configuration reviews• Designing secure architectures aligned with NCSC, CIS and ISO 27001 frameworks• Leading client workshops to define cloud security strategy, governance and control frameworks• Supporting incident response and remediation planning for cloud related threats• Collaborating with SOC and Engineering teams to align logging, identity and detection controls• Advising on compliance and regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, Cyber Essentials Plus and NHS DSPT• Contributing to the development of advisory frameworks, templates and best practices• Mentoring junior consultants and sharing knowledge across the wider cyber teamWhat You’ll Bring• 4 or more years of experience in security consulting, architecture or engineering• Strong technical knowledge of Azure and AWS security services, controls and architectures• Proven experience conducting cloud security assessments or designing secure cloud solutions• Deep understanding of IAM, networking, encryption, monitoring and incident response in cloud environments• Familiarity with cloud native tools such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud, AWS Security Hub and GuardDuty• Knowledge of security frameworks including NIST, CIS Benchmarks, ISO 27001 and CSA CCM• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills• Experience working in regulated sectors such as Healthcare, Finance or Public Sector• Strong understanding of hybrid connectivity and zero trust principlesDesirable Experience• Exposure to DevSecOps, CI/CD pipeline security or infrastructure as code using Terraform, ARM or CloudFormation• Experience working across multi cloud environments such as GCPWhat You’ll Get• Salary up to £85,000 plus bonus• Hybrid working and flexible hours• Funded training, certifications and career mentoring• Access to leading tools, labs and learning resources• Private healthcare, pension and wellbeing support• Collaborative, inclusive culture built around trust, growth and innovationIf you are ready to take the next step in your cloud security career and want to do it in a company that invests in your development, values your expertise and celebrates success together, this is your opportunity to help shape the next chapter of enterprise cyber defence.
