Academics Ltd are working with a fantastic school in the Gravesend area who are seeking a reliable, hands-on, and dedicated Site Manager to join their team from November . The Role: As the School Site Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the school premises, including maintenance, security and health 'safety. Key Responsibilities: Overseeing the security, cleanliness and general maintenance of the school site Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance work Managing contractors and site staff Ensuring health and safety standards are met across the premises Opening and closing the school buildings daily Monitoring stock levels and ordering supplies when needed Requirements: Previous experience as a School Site Manager, Caretaker, or Premises Officer Good understanding of health and safety regulations Practical maintenance skills (DIY, plumbing, electrics, etc.) Ability to work flexibly and use initiative Must hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS Must complete (or be willing to complete) Safeguarding Training Why work with Academics?
