Our award-winning team has almost 100 years of combined experience in helping our clients’ projects move forward with clarity and confidence.As we continue to expand our business, we are actively growing our team and are on the hunt for a Senior Visualisation Specialist to join our new Manchester studio.About youYou’ll produce beautiful and outstanding visuals from high-end masterplan projects right through to the most abstract of concept studies, working with the world’s best designers. You’ll contribute to our collaborative way of working, playing a key role in helping our clients achieve their goals, leading projects from conception to delivery.Your duties will include:Using your experience, knowledge, skills and excellent eye for detail to create photo-realistic materials, lighting and rendered still images and animationsPresenting work to clients, ensuring ideas are represented accurately and attractively and that projects are delivered on time and on budgetCommunicating clearly, fluently and timeously, both verbally and in writing, internally and externallyIncorporating feedback from colleagues and clients into your designs, as well as mindfully giving feedback where requiredKeeping up to date with industry trends, innovations and developments to enhance your skillsContributing to, and managing our asset libraries, maintaining organised and efficient asset pipelines, ensuring that all 3D assets are properly labelled, versioned, and storedManaging your own time across projects to ensure milestones and deadlines are metTroubleshoot and solve technical issues related to 3D asset creation and integrationAct as an ambassador for Float and uphold our core values of curiosity, integrity, collaboration and innovationRequired Skills & Experience●    5+ years professional experience of architectural visualisation●    Proficient user of 3ds Max, Corona, Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere●    Strong understanding of lighting, shading, and rendering techniques●    Proven ability to lead and manage projects on multidisciplinary visualisation teams●    Advanced modelling, lighting, rendering and compositing visuals, VR and animation●    Excellent verbal and written communication in fluent English●    Strong understanding of architectural drawings, BIM data and design intent●    Creative problem‑solver with a proactive, positive attitude●    Curiosity about visualisation workflows, AI and procedural tools●    Comfortable leading client‑facing meetings and reviewsPreferred Skills & Experience●    Educated to degree level or specific training in Architectural Visualisation●    Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine●    Experience with VR/AR development●    Previous experience using Miro●    Previous experience coaching and mentoring junior artists●    Previous account management experienceWorking At FloatOur team sets a very high bar for quality and you’ll be working on challenging projects for our broad range of clients including global household names as well as UK developers and builders. We specialise in photorealistic imagery, so your eye for detail will have to be at its sharpest to excel in our team.We are a very collaborative team, both with each other and with our clients, so you must be comfortable leading client meetings, presenting ideas and handling feedback. You’ll also need to be proactive and organised with your time as our work is often delivering to tight deadlines to meet our clients’ schedules.Our studio typically runs Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm and you’ll be working from there for the majority of the time, so you must be able to reliably commute to central Manchester. You’ll receive a generous annual leave allowance and opportunities to develop your skills as well as further your career.EligibilityTo be eligible to be considered for this role, you must live within commuting distance of central Manchester and meet the required skills and experience outlined above.
