Founding Engineer | YC-Backed | London | £80,000 - £120,000We're working with a YC-backed startup in London that's just closed a multimillion-pound seed round. They're building the AI platform that's transforming high-stakes litigation for top US law firms.Top UK and US law firms use their platform to handle high-stakes litigation faster - automating tasks that used to take lawyers hours, now done in seconds with AIYou'll work closely with their technical co-founders with deep domain expertise. Their users are lawyers who trust them with million-pound disputes. Security, accuracy, and speed aren't negotiable.They're hiring their first engineer. A true founding team member who wants to build, ship, and own.What you'll do:Full-stack work across Python backend, Next.js frontend, PostgreSQL, LLMs, and Azure infrastructure. You'll talk directly to customers (major law firms), understand what they need, then build it. You'll own features end-to-end.The work: document processing pipelines at scale. Multi-step AI agents handling complex legal workflows. Search systems that work across massive case files. UX designed for how lawyers actually work.There are plenty of feature requests from top-tier firms.
