Islington is looking for a motivated, hands-on, and passionate Restaurant Manager to join our close-knit team. Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate, and develop a dedicated front-of-house team. Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth, professional service. Maintain high standards of hospitality, presentation, and cleanliness. Deliver confident food, drink, and wine service in collaboration with the kitchen team. Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure alignment between FOH and BOH. Manage reservations, floor plans, and guest experience. Take ownership of rotas, stock control, and basic administrative duties. Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that reflects Salut!s personality and standards. Skills & Experience Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a quality dining environment. Passion for hospitality and genuine enjoyment of service. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of stock, ordering, rota management, and compliance. Excellent communication and leadership skills. WSET Level 2 or above (desirable). Fluent in English; additional languages a plus. About Us Salut! Islington opened in 2015 and seats 28 guests, serving modern European dishes with a focus on quality, flavour, and seasonality. We operate seven evenings a week and FridaySunday for lunch. Our ethos is simple: great food, great wine, genuine hospitality.
