Senior DevOps EngineerWe are working with a fast-growing and well established software team in NI to recruit for a Senior DevOps Engineer.This company offer a perfect balance of job security combined with career growth opportunity in a collaborative and friendly environment.The salary package on offer is:Salary: £60k, Bonus 10%, Pension, healthcare, Hybrid working.Role ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute DevOps modernization strategy using current technologies and practices.Build internal tooling and automate software development, testing, and delivery pipelines.Eliminate manual release processes through full CI/CD automation.Enhance production stability via improved processes and observability tools.Support application teams in adopting consistent DevOps tools, cloud/on-prem automation, and agile delivery practices.Collaborate with vendors to accelerate adoption of best-in-class tools and methods.Design and support solutions using containerization and serverless technologies.Drive automation for environment setup, logging, and monitoring.Perform additional duties as needed.Experience / CompetenciesEssentialBachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science.5+ years leading DevOps initiativesProven success delivering DevOps transformation and automation improvements.Metrics-driven approach to process and productivity optimization.Strong grasp of modern DevOps and SRE principles.Deep experience with AWS services.Skilled in integrating automated testing (unit, integration, smoke) into CI/CD pipelines.DesiredExperience with Agile/SAFe and Lean delivery.Knowledge of automation and observability tools across the SDLC.OS: Windows Server, Amazon Linux, RHEL, Ubuntu.Scripting: Python, Go, PowerShell, Bash, Groovy.Programming: Java, C#, JavaScript, Ruby, C++.Tooling: GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus.Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and pipelines as code.
