This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in ensuring the quality, safety, and integrity of life-saving aerospace components. Hours & Benefits Salary: 40,00042,000 per annum Hours: MonFri, 37.5 hrs/week 8am5pm (MonThu) 12 midday finish on Fridays Pension: 9% private pension Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays Subsidised staff canteen Option to purchase additional annual leave after qualifying period Stable, long-term career in a world-leading aerospace company The Role As a Mechanical Inspector , you will carry out inspection and testing of precision components using a range of tools and techniques. You will interpret engineering drawings, maintain inspection documentation, and ensure all products meet required specifications. Youll work closely with production and follow strict SOPs, Quality Assurance standards, and Health & Safety procedures. Must have Key Skills & Experience : Minimum 5 years component inspection experience Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications Skilled in GD&T to ASME Y14.5 Proficient with inspection tools: Height Gauges, Bore Micrometres, DTIs, intertest Experience using CMMs (Mitutoyo GEOPAK) and ideally portable CMMs (Hexagon Absolute Arm) Basic PC skills including SAP and Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail, communication, and documentation accuracy Aerospace background & AS9102 FAIR experience desirable If youre a committed and detail-driven Mechanical Inspector looking to contribute to a company whose mission is to save lives, apply today or call Andrea 07999108785 INDMAN TPBN1_UKTJ
