Electrical Design Engineer Nottinghamshire 37,000-43000 Are you a suitably qualified and experienced Electrical Design Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in a rapidly growing, world-leading company that puts employees first? Due to continued growth, they are seeking a highly motivated individual to join their multi-disciplinary Engineering team. What You'll Be Doing The work is varied, interesting, and demanding , requiring high standards for quality and performance. You will design and support the development of lab equipment for academia . Main responsibilities include: Designing products and providing production information (like wiring diagrams and assembly drawings) to support manufacturing and servicing throughout the product life cycle . Creating detailed drawings, BOMs , test specifications, and content for technical manuals . Ensuring equipment meets all statutory requirements , such as CE/UKCA marking . What You Need Minimum 5 years experience . A relevant electrical engineering qualification Good fundamental electrical engineering knowledge and knowledge of design best practice . Experience using CAD packages to create schematics and drawings . Knowledge of control systems, sensors, instrumentation, and UK, EC & US electrical safety regulations . Key Details & Benefits Contract Type: Permanent, full time . Hours: 37 hours per week (Mon-Thurs 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Fri 8:00 am to 1:00 pm) .
