Job Description

HR Business Partner Location: Malmesbury (100% office based) Salary: 55,000 65,000 + bonus + excellent benefits We are supporting a privately-owned, multi-sector group to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner to join their people team. The organisation manages a broad portfolio of businesses and investments across areas such as property, aviation, agriculture, retail, and hospitality. With approximately 85 direct employees (and around 400 across associated entities), no two days are the same the environment is fast-moving, varied, and rich with opportunity to make an impact. This role is based in stunning offices in Malmesbury, working as part of a small, collaborative HR team consisting of a Head of HR, HR Assistant, and wider HR Team who sit within the Group. The Role This is a true HR generalist position supporting the full employee lifecycle, with a strong operational and change-focused remit. You will partner with managers across multiple business areas, coach leaders, improve processes, and take ownership of several key HR projects. With ongoing change across the portfolio, the HRBP will also deputise for the Head of HR when required. Key responsibilities include: Managing and developing the HR Assistant Planning and delivering HR projects across the group Reviewing, updating, and embedding HR policies and processes Coaching and advising managers on all people matters Leading performance processes and managing ER cases (capability, disciplinary, grievance) Overseeing group benefits and collaborating with Group Reward function as required Providing salary, benchmarking, and compensation advice Driving talent reviews, succession planning, and development initiatives Leading employee engagement activity Managing the ATS and supporting managers with recruitment Overseeing HR elements of payroll; ensuring SLA compliance Producing and presenting HR metrics to senior leadership Managing internal communications across the group The Person We are looking for an HR professional who is confident, pragmatic, and able to navigate a varied organisational landscape.
