Job Description

Reliability Engineer Salary: Up to 60,000 (DOE) Working Model: Hybrid (23 days per week on-site) Security Clearance: Must be a British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Please note: Restrictions related to nationality and/or right-to-work may apply. Successful candidates will be required to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks. About the Opportunity An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Reliability Engineer to play a key role in shaping the reliability aspects of highly technical, complex, and cutting-edge products. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving engineering challenges, influencing design decisions, and contributing to the development of sophisticated systems. Youll have the chance to work on major engineering programmes as well as internally funded research activitiesgiving you the freedom to apply your expertise creatively while also supporting the development of up-and-coming engineers through structured development programmes. Influence design and engineering teams by applying reliability expertise early and throughout the development lifecycle. Ensure reliability work is balanced, pragmatic, and cost-effectivefocusing on meaningful engineering outcomes, not just numerical targets. Contribute to a progressive and lean reliability assurance programme. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary and multi-national teams to identify and mitigate reliability risks. What Were Looking For Strong knowledge of complex electronic systems and their associated reliability challenges (other engineering backgrounds considered with relevant strengths). Experience with reliability planning, analysis, and testing in development environments. Understanding of the reliability lifecycle and its relationship with systems engineering processes. Ability to produce high-quality reliability documentation, including FMECA and predictions; familiarity with modern methodologies (e.g., FIDES ) is an advantage. A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and influencing skills. Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
