Vehicle Prepper, Paint Sprayer & re-fitter. Overview: T o work in a busy family operated business seeing new and used Race Transporters and Exhibition vehicles through the complete paintwork process from Prep to finish. Location: Bristol BS10 7RS, 2.5miles from M5 J17 Working Hours: Your hours of work will be 7.30am to 5.30pm Monday - Thursday (with a 30 minute unpaid lunch each day) with a 3.00pm finish on a Fridays. Summer option to finish @ 1.30pm on Fridays. You will be expected on occasion to work later in the evening or weekends as business needs require. Key Objectives You will be responsible for working on new and used race transporters through every stage of paintwork from start to finish . You must have previous experience of working with two pack paints & base coat, working to material manufacturer guidelines and be capable of producing high quality work. Responsibilities Include: Vehicle & panel prep including Filler 'sealer work. Vehicle strip & re-fit. Paintwork in 2k primer, top coat & base coat. Be able to work individually and within a team to meet production targets. Following clear instructions from team members and senior colleagues Adherence to health and safety rules and regulations Maintaining production area housekeeping Minimise waste by using/disposing of raw materials and consumable items efficiently Maintaining a safe working environment at all times The company requires all employees to adopt a flexible approach to work and you will be required from time to time to perform other duties. We will ensure that you will be adequately trained to carry out these tasks. Key skills and experience This role is ideally suited to a hands on, organised, proactive and self-motivated individual. Suitable candidates will have: Paint spraying/prepping and finalising experience ideally in commercial vehicle industry Consistently high standard of workmanship Previous experience of working with single pack and two pack paint Ability to ensure production target output and quality is maintained Employee Benefits: Options to move into other parts of the business as required ( general coach building, aluminium and steel fabrication, carpentry & electrical). 20 to 25p/hr subject to experience Early finish Fridays.
