Data Processing Technician (Full-Time) Location: Dyce, Aberdeen (Free on-site parking)We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking Data Processing Technician to join our team and provide essential administrative support to our laboratory staff.Youll play a key role in ensuring samples and data are processed accurately and efficiently, helping the laboratory run smoothly on a day-to-day basis.Key Responsibilities Receiving and accurately logging samples received by the laboratory Generating laboratory contract numbers, worksheets and reports Entering data, checking and analysing reports to ensure accuracy Working with specialist laboratory software to manage, track and report on sample data Completing and uploading GEODASY data Closing out contracts and arranging the disposal of soil samplesAbout YouYou will: Have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills Be able to manage your time effectively and handle multiple tasks Enjoy working as part of a team, but also be confident working on your own initiative Be comfortable using IT systems; experience with specialist laboratory software or databases is an advantage (full training provided) Be proactive, reliable and able to demonstrate a flexible approach to supporting the wider team Have a pleasant, friendly manner and a positive attitudeNo previous experience in a similar role is required full internal training will be provided .Job Type: Full-timePay: From 13.25 per hourExpected hours: 40 50 per weekBenefits: Company pension Sick payAbility to commute/relocate: Aberdeen AB21 7HG: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Work Location: In person
