Mechatronics Engineer (Power Doors ) Working with a leading high-class automotive manufacturer This role shapes the quality and performance of glazing, sealing and exterior finishing systems across next-generation vehicle programmes. What you must bring: Experience in body systems, particularly glazing, sealing and exterior finishers Strong understanding of APQP, FMEA and automotive development processes Proficiency with CATIA V5/V6 and requirements tools such as DOORs Knowledge of global regulations for glass and sealing systems A degree in Mechanical, Automotive or Manufacturing Engineering Confident communication and project leadership skills Good to have: Exposure to JIRA or Agile ways of working Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence design decisions Solid problem-solving skills and experience supporting launch or manufacturing issues Familiarity with Scrum methodologies What you will do: Lead the quality strategy for glass, seals and finishing systems across new and existing programmes Set and implement robust quality standards and test plans for durability, water management and fit-and-finish Work closely with design, manufacturing and programme teams to embed quality from concept through launch Drive CAD reviews, boundary diagrams and interface definitions Lead root-cause investigations using FMEA, 8D and evidence-based methods Support supplier development, audits and verification activity Oversee DV and PV testing and ensure all APQP and release milestones are met TPBN1_UKTJ
