Estates / Housing Officer - Leicester & Northampton (Temporary Contract)Contract: Temporary, starting ASAP until end of February 2026Location: Leicester & Northamptonshire (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)Hours: Full-time About the Role We're seeking a proactive Estates / Housing Officer to join our team on a temporary basis. You'll be responsible for delivering tenancy and estate management services that reduce risks to residents, protect assets, and prevent tenancy failure through timely and professional interventions. Key Responsibilities: Deliver proactive tenancy and estate management services in line with policies and procedures. Oversee decants, abandonments, void properties, and tenancy terminations to ensure properties are recovered promptly and costs (waste removal, damage, neglect, arrears, void loss) are minimised. Build strong relationships with customers to support successful tenancies from sign-up to termination, engaging with them to shape and improve services. Identify, implement, and review building and environmental improvements, local lettings plans, and community initiatives. What We're Looking For: Experience in housing or estate management. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential for site visits). Working Pattern: 3 days on-site (covering properties in Leicester and Northamptonshire). 2 days remote/home-based.
