Aboutus: We are the Information Intelligence Group (IIG) of CACI UK, a specialist technical consultancy providing bespoke solutions to solve complex operational problems. To support our targeted future growth, we are looking to appoint a Business Development Officer to work closely with our Account Management team. RoleLocation: This is a Hybrid role, requiring weekly working from either our Bristol or Plymouth office. AbouttheRole: Are you ready to make an impact in a fast-paced, high-energy environment? As our Business Development Officer, youll be at the heart of our dynamic team, working closely with the Growth Manager to unlock new opportunities and drive ongoing business success. Working closely with our Business Growth Manager, you will provide support across the full sales lifecycle, initially in triaging opportunities identified through commercial frameworks and the bidding process, through to developing a pipeline of opportunities and direct customer engagement. You will have the autonomy to drive operational efficiency, ensuring data integrity, and enhancing processes that contribute to successful client relationships. Key Responsibilities will Include: SpotandShareOpportunities: Manage and triage leads from diverse frameworks and procurement sources (Crown Commercial, Utilities, National Security & Defence, Transport, Health sectors) and connect them with the right teams. KeepUsonTrack: MaintainaccurateCRMdata(Bigin/Netsuite)toensureseamlesstrackingofleads,opportunities,andclientinteractions. TurnDataintoInsights: Supportthecreationofsalesreports,dashboards,andperformanceanalyticsthatdrivesmarterdecisions. BuildthePipeline: Assistwithforecastingandpipelinemanagementtokeepgrowthontarget. OwntheDetails: Coordinatebidcommunications,proposals,pricing,andcontractsalongsidesalesandlegalteams. MakeUsBetter: Monitor and improve internal sales processes and documentation for maximum efficiency. BetheBackbone: Provide essential support to keep the sales team performing at its best. TheFit: This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate in the early stages of their career with a relevant degree (e.g. Business, IT, Geography) whos eager to pursue a career in Business Development and Account Management. If youre analytical, detail-oriented, and excited by the intersection of business operations and technical consultancy, this role will give you the platform to grow, learn, and make a real impact. Due to the industries we work in, we require the successful candidate to be able to obtain high level security clearance.
