HGV Class 1 Driver People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver based in Lutterworth, Leicestershire . Shifts Monday to Sunday Start times between 01:00 10:00 Monday to Sunday Start times between 15:00 22:00 Any 5 out of 7 Benefits Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay On-site canteen Training provided Immediate starts Employee well-being programme Rates of Pay Basic: 17.00 per hour Nights: 18.00 per hour Saturday: 20.00 per hour Sunday: 22.00 per hour Day-to-Day Duties RDC work some handball may be required depending on destination (curtain-sider) Operate and drive Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all loads are correctly secured Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly Assist with loading and unloading as required Essential Skills Valid UK Category CE licence No experience required driving CE vehicles No more than six penalty points (minor infringements only) Valid UK CPC card and Digital Tachograph card Good level of spoken and written English Excellent punctuality and time-keeping Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience Experience driving commercial vehicles Previous multi-drop experience Training Provided Driver assessment required One-day paid induction following successful assessment Apply If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today using the link below or get in touch with our recruitment team for more information.
