As part of our world-class, performance-focused team you will have the opportunity to work within the Quality Team. You would be working the 4 on / 4 off shift rotation (2 days / 2 nights) and reporting into the Quality Controller. Key Job Accountabilities As part of the Quality Team, you will be responsible for: Conducting machine checks, noting any quality issues, communicating with operators, Shift Manager and Quality Controller. Collection of completed job cards and samples from the relevant factory Managing the full testing schedule for site:tests include (but not limited to) Gel Analysis, Melt Flow, Polymer Identification, Tear, Gauge, Puncture and Opacity Conducting regular testing to ensure specification is met and raising out of specification polythene film or concerns to the Quality Controller Pellet and scrap surveillance testing Preparing Certificates of Analysis for specific products Manage customer and complaint samples Assist in quality training for operators Reporting on Quality KPIs to Quality Controller Trend Analysis Prepare samples for testing and sending out to customers Test and assist on new trials before they are released Internal Audits and maintaining 5S standards in the lab Qualifications/Requirements A proven track record in working in a Quality Inspector / Technician role within a manufacturing organisation Good interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people Good written and presentation skills Excellent IT skills and the ability to analyse data Manage and prioritise own workload TPBN1_UKTJ
