TheRole: AstheTenancySustainmentOfficer,youwillprovideacomprehensivetenancysupportservice,ensuringtenantsreceivetheguidanceandsupporttheyneedtosustaintheirhomes,preventhomelessness,anddevelopkeylifeskills.Youwillworkcloselywithtenants,partneragencies,andcolleaguestodelivertailoredsupportplansandactasanadvocatewhenrequired. KeyResponsibilities: Carryoutassessmentsoftenantssupportneedsandcreateperson-centredplanstoachievepositiveoutcomes. Buildconstructiverelationshipsoftrustwithtenants,providingguidanceontenancyresponsibilitiesandlifestylechangestosupportsustainabletenancies. Supporttenantswithaccessinggrants,completingforms,andliaisingwithstatutory,voluntary,andcommercialagencies. Providebasicbudgetingadviceandrefertenantstospecialistsupportwhererequired. Facilitatetenantsengagementwiththecommunity,localresources,andlearningopportunities. Maintainaccuraterecordsofallactions,contactwithtenants,andprogressagainstplans. Attendmulti-agencymeetings,tenantandresidentmeetings,andrepresenttheserviceasrequired. Supportthedevelopmentandimprovementofthetenancysustainmentservicethroughbestpracticeandinnovativeideas. Experience: Experienceworkinginhousingorarelatedfield. ProficientinMSWord,Excel,andrelevantdatabasesystems. Directexperiencesupportingvulnerableindividualsinthecommunity.
