The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Nottingham area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C&E) to join the team. Shifts: Shifts across Monday to Sunday (weekends included on a rota basis) Class 1 Night Trunker Class 1 Day& Night Driver Hours: Days and nights Monday to Friday (occasional Sunday shift) 9-10 hour long shifts Days - 09:00 - 10:00am start time Nights- 18:00 - 22:00pm start time Pay Rate: Days- Monday to Friday - 16.00 per hour PAYE Nights -Monday to Friday - 17.00 per hour PAYE rising to 17.50 after 12 weeks Days & Nights - Sunday - 21.50 per hour PAYE Bank Holiday Days - 21.50 per hour PAYE rising to 32.00 after 12 weeks Bank Holiday Nights - 21.50 per hour PAYE rising to 34.50 after 12 weeks Location: Nottingham, NG6 Job Type : Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate. The role: Working set shifts with a rota planned in advance, weekends included and required Securely moving and transporting premium and high value goods (parcels) to sub-depots or collecting them from delivery units. Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork throughout shift. Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck. Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner. Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E). Minimum of 6 months experience required. Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation.
