In addition to composting Envar also recycle coffee grounds. About the role: Envar Composting are looking for a Trainee Mobile Fitter to persistently maintain high standards of workmanship and competence in performing tasks associated with preventative maintenance checks and general maintenance whilst maintaining high standards of internal and external communications and relationships. The individual will have the opportunity to learn to install, maintain and repair heavy machinery such as shredders, trommels, loading shovels, telehandlers, excavators and tractors, while handling lighter equipment such as pumps and generators. The role providers a great variation of types of work and allows any new entrant to develop their skill set and deepen their knowledge into plant and machinery. Stock control of parts is also a requirement that will enable further development and understanding of the role. Note: in addition to these functions, employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required. Key Responsibilities: Comply with all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment Staff have a duty to take care of their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their actions at work Carry out inspections, diagnosing any fault and defects on Plant Equipment, related equipment and components.
