Overview We are seeking a motivated and technically competent Technical Sales Representative to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment, with proven experience in technical sales. You will be responsible for building client relationships, delivering expert guidance, and securing new business across construction, industrial, and logistics sectors. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are essential. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong client relationships across multiple sectors. Provide expert technical advice on cranes, hoists, gantry cranes, and lifting accessories. Conduct on-site visits and deliver technical presentations to clients. Prepare quotations, proposals, and specifications tailored to customer needs. Ensure all products and solutions comply with LOLER, PUWER, and relevant industry standards. Identify new business opportunities and manage the full sales cycle from enquiry to close. Maintain accurate CRM records, sales reports, and activity logs. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery. Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and training sessions when required. Requirements Proven experience in technical sales within cranes, lifting equipment, or a similar industry. Strong knowledge of overhead cranes, gantry cranes, hoists, and lifting accessories. Understanding of LOLER and PUWER regulations. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to read technical specifications and explain solutions clearly to customers. Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify customer requirements. Full UK driving licence. Willingness to travel to customer sites as required. Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently. Hours Monday Thursday: 8:00am 4:30pm Friday: 8:00am 2:00pm Flexibility required. Salary 45,000+ per annum (depending on experience) Commission structure available with uncapped earning potential.
