HGV Class 1 Night Driver People Solutions are recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Night Driver to join our well-established client based in Pontefract, West Yorkshire . Shifts Monday to Sunday operation (must be able to work weekends) Rates of Pay Sunday Thursday Nights: 20.36 per hour Friday Nights: 22.91 per hour Sunday: 25.91 per hour Benefits Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay On-site canteen Training provided Immediate starts Day-to-Day Duties Carry out RDC and store deliveries Operate Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured correctly Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all times Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Essential Skills Valid UK Category CE licence Minimum of 12 months'' experience driving CE vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor infringements Valid UK CPC card and Digital Tachograph card Good spoken and written English Punctual with excellent timekeeping Strong understanding of road safety and traffic regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience Previous commercial driving experience Previous store delivery experience Training Provided Driver''s assessment required before starting Two-day paid induction after successful assessment Apply If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more.
