**Please note - we cannot offer relocation assistance or VISA sponsorship for this role.We’re working with a long-established and forward-thinking large format print manufacturer based in Southern Essex who are seeking an experienced Head of Production Operations to take the reins of their busy print facility.This is a newly created position within the business following an internal restructure — designed to strengthen operational efficiency and bring clear direction across production and supporting departments.The RoleYou’ll lead day-to-day production and logistics operations, overseeing multiple shifts and a sizeable team responsible for delivering high-quality large format graphics and display work.With a strong focus on workflow, process and structure, this role will suit someone who thrives on bringing organisation and calm to a fast-paced, high-output environment. You’ll act as the operational bridge between production and the wider business, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely and to the highest standard.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the operational lead of the production department, including finishing and logistics operationsDrive efficiency through improved workflow, scheduling and resource managementLead and develop department managers and shift leads across day and night teamsMaintain high quality standards while meeting demanding client deadlinesChampion Health & Safety and promote a culture of continuous improvementUse production data and workflow systems to track performance and deliver measurable resultsCollaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and project deliveryWhat We’re Looking ForProven experience in a senior production or operational leadership role within a large format print print environmentDeep understanding of large format print processes, materials and finishing techniquesA strong operational mindset — someone who can bring structure, consistency and accountability to a busy floorConfident, people-focused leader with a calm, solution-driven approachCommercially aware and able to balance the bigger picture with day-to-day operationsThis is an opportunity to make a genuine impact — shaping process, structure and culture within a respected print manufacturer that values collaboration, innovation and quality.Salary to be discussed based on experience.
