You must live in the Midlands (or within 30 miles of Tamworth) This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a growing HR consultancy based in Tamworth. Youll be part of a small, friendly team including a very well-behaved office dog so youll need to be comfortable working around dogs. The role involves providing expert HR support and strategic guidance to a range of clients, ensuring best practice and compliance across the employee lifecycle. Youll need a broad HR skillset, commercial awareness, and the confidence to build strong client relationships, including occasional travel to client sites across the UK. This is a flexible part-time role (1620 hours per week). Candidates must be within 30 miles of Tamworth. What we need from you to apply for this role: CIPD Level 7 (or working towards) Extensive generalist HR experience, ideally within a consultancy or multi-sector environment Proven ability to deliver HR advice and solutions to clients at all levels Strong knowledge of UK employment law, HR best practice, and commercial HR approaches Experienced in leading complex HR/ER meetings, investigations, and hearings Skilled in policy development, organisational change, and workforce planning Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, and sound decision-making abilities Able to manage multiple clients and priorities independently Commercially aware with a good understanding of business drivers Proficient with HRIS/CRM systems and MS Office Confident delivering training, coaching, and workshops High accuracy and attention to detail Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Other Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field What the role involves: Provide high-level HR consultancy to clients, including advice on employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, organisational development, and change management Lead and chair complex HR/ER meetings, investigations, and hearings as required Conduct HR audits and needs assessments, developing tailored solutions for clients Design, review, and implement HR policies and procedures in line with current legislation and best practice Support clients with strategic workforce planning, restructuring, and organisational change projects Deliver training, coaching, and workshops to client managers and teams on HR topic Stay abreast of employment law changes and industry trends, advising clients to ensure ongoing compliance Prepare reports, analytics, and recommendations to support client decision-making Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and business partner Support the development of internal colleagues through training, coaching and mentoring as needed Support other HR functions and contribute to business development activities as required Salary: 38,000 - 45,000k pro rata. Hours: Working 16-20 hours per week flexible to work over 4/5 days, hours worked ideally between 1pm and 5.30pm each day.
