Waste Collection HGV Driver Pay: 15.84 per hour Length: Ongoing Location: Kettering Shifts: 37hrs per week, 6.30am - 4.30pm 9.25hrs per day with 45mins break Great Overtime rates paid over 37hrs at x1.5 rate for Mondays/Saturdays and x2 rate for Sundays/Bank Holidays Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of North Northamptonshire Council for Waste Collection HGV Driver to temporarily join their busy team within Waste services . As Waste Collection HGV Driver you will be: Driving and operating a refuse collection vehicle (HGV) on set routes Working as part of a crew to complete daily waste and recycling collections Ensuring safe and efficient operation of the vehicle at all times Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects You will ensure and promote great operational relationships between the service and members of the public in liaison with the refuse crew and ensure compliance at all times with appropriate Health and Safety at Work legislation, taking responsibility for your own Health and Safety and that of your colleagues and members of the public.
