What Youll Do Maintain and prepare hospitality & catering facilities used for student training and events (kitchens, dining rooms, cafs). Ensure equipment and stock are clean, safe, and ready for use; carry out routine maintenance / basic cleaning / setup tasks. Support practical delivery of hospitality and catering courses preparing working stations, ingredients, materials, and clearing down afterwards. Help set up and support college events, functions, open days liaising with academic staff, being proactive and organised. Uphold health, hygiene, and safety standards at all times ensuring compliance with college policies and relevant regulations. What Youll Bring Previous experience in hospitality, catering, cleaning, catering-kitchen or facilities maintenance (ideally in a commercial / educational / catering setting). Practical, hands-on approach to work; reliability and ability to prioritise tasks under a rota system. Good organisation skills, attention to detail, and awareness of hygiene 'safety standards. Good communication and interpersonal skills able to work with students, staff and possibly external contractors / suppliers. Flexibility and willingness to adapt hours/shifts when needed; a positive, proactive attitude and willingness to collaborate as part of a team. ?
