Application Packaging & Deployment EngineerLocation: Remote UK - will need to travel occasionally for customer meetings12 month FTC Clearance Requirement: UK Security Clearance (SC) – MandatoryRole PurposeThe Application Packaging & Deployment Engineers will be responsible for packaging, testing, and deploying applications using SCCM and Intune. The role ensures software delivery is efficient, standardised, and compliant across the enterprise.Key ResponsibilitiesPackage applications using Admi Studio, InstallShield, and PowerShell.Ensure consistency by maintaining package standards and naming conventions.Migrate legacy applications to MSIX or Intune deployment models.Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications via SCCM and Intune.Administer and maintain deployment infrastructure (collections, boundaries, distribution points).Manage application rollouts across pre-production and production environments.Produce clear documentation and share knowledge with internal teams.Contribute to change management and governance processes.Required Skills & ExperienceProven background in application packaging (MSI, App-V, Intune).Strong expertise in SCCM (Current Branch).Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, VBScript, Batch).Solid understanding of Windows 10/11, Active Directory, and Group Policy.Hands-on experience with Intune, Autopilot, and Conditional Access.Desirable Skills & CertificationsMicrosoft certifications (MCSA, MD-102).ITIL Foundation certification.Experience working in regulated or large-scale enterprise environments.
