Advising on the commercial risks and opportunities on contracts from tender to completion. Being responsible for the commercial performance of several frameworks. Providing commercial support and advice to Work Winning and other functions as required. Support the Senior Commercial Manager in preparing the regional management accounts and Contract Reviews.Key Deliverables:NEC3/4 and bespoke contract management of multiple contractsManage and develop the Commercial Team ensuring work is delivered on time and to a high standard.Identification & notification of Early Warnings and Compensation EventsManagement of supply chain contracts and agreementsProvide cash forecasts and take responsibility of cash flow forecastingCVR creation and managementEstablishment and management of monthly project reviewsEnsure projects are executed in line with the financial plan and contractsManaging the dispute and defects process with the Client and SubcontractorsManage invoicing and overdue applications or debts Responsible for quotation approvals and ensuring contract orders are in placeOversee the preparation of BoQ, measurements and valuations of works for applications, variations and final accounts with ClientsMaintain control of Subcontractors accounts and minimise the cost of any variations Manage Sub-Contractor AFPs, issue and certify Payment Certificates & PLN (Pay Less Notices) and keeping a full record of the cumulative position of supply chain accountDevelop a monthly senior project review process with the Senior Commercial ManagerAid with pre-tender review processAttend Client progress meetings and manage contractual KPIsFollow procedures for Client work approvalEffective communication with all levels of personnel and enjoy working as a team Develop and maintain positive long term relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfactionProvide innovative ideas and continuous improvement Provide cost advice and value engineering solutionsKnowledge & Experience:For recruitment and development purposes the following knowledge, skills and experience are required:Essential:Significant Experience of responsibility for the commercial performance of projectsA well-developed understanding of various forms of contract, particularly NEC3/4, with the ability to apply these skills at a practical level to live projectsProven record in managing a teamExcellent MS Excel skillsDesriable:Experience with Civil Engineering and Construction projectsExperience of managing volume based projectsBenefits:We're always evolving our benefits to ensure we're attracting and retaining great people.
