As a growing scientific communications agency, we are seeking a Senior Account Manager who will be responsible for managing accounts and standard projects independently, ensuring they are completed on budget, on schedule, and to the required specifications.We are a remote-first organization, and we embrace an "accelerate from anywhere culture". You may be required to travel based on business requirements or for company/team events.ResponsibilitiesClient relationship accountabilityUnderstand client objectives, adapt to their working style, and ensure all deliverables align with client expectationsProactively identify challenges and delivery risks, implementing solutions and corrective measures to strengthen partnerships and optimise outcomesLead and support strategic, complex projects across therapeutic areas using compelling storytelling and impactful visual conceptualizationEncourage client feedback to drive improvement, and present new initiatives to stakeholders when appropriateWorkflowsEnsure a seamless client experience and drive timely project closure to boost productivityReview deliverables to ensure alignment with client objectives and monitor timelines to ensure on-schedule deliveryLead project kick-off and client calls, share scopes and MoMs promptly, and conduct debriefs to capture and implement learningsMaintain regular communication and take relevant actions with third parties that influence deliverables, such as congress secretariatsProject status and governanceLead project status meetings with accurate reporting to ensure alignment with client objectivesSupport governance reporting with the Account Director through monthly and quarterly reviewsOrganic GrowthIdentify growth opportunities and support the Account Director with business forecasting#LI-RemoteQualifications and PrerequisitesEducation: Degree minimum (life science degree advantageous) or demonstrable experience in medical communications or pharmaceutical industryExperience: 2+ years’ experience as an Account Manager within healthcare communications agencies, predominantly in the medical affairsBusiness skills: Strong client relationship-building and business communication skills with experience in managing small accounts and executing global programs while ensuring client satisfaction and trustBusiness Acumen: Demonstrates strong understanding of medical communications, has knowledge of client environments and market dynamics, and makes strategic decisions that drive value for both the company and its clientsInterpersonal Skills: Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills by building rapport across diverse personalities, presenting facts objectively, owning mistakes, and solving problems with excellenceTechnology skills: Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Microsoft Project), AdobeAI Adaptability: Shows an eagerness to learn and apply AI tools and technologiesTravel: This role includes occasional travel to the client site in London, potentially once a monthBenefits of the role30 days of annual leaves.Statutory leaves including SSP, maternity and paternity leaves.Holistic wellness support with access to fitness club, sportive activities and eye tests.Financial security through life assurance and income protection.Retirement savings plan with employer contributions.Application ProcessBefore applying, please ensure you meet the role requirements listed above and have legal authorization to work in the country where this role is advertised.
