7.5 TONNE DRIVER People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Barnsley . Shifts Monday Saturday availability Rates of Pay 14.24 per hour Benefits Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay On-site canteen Training provided Immediate starts Day-to-Day Duties Carrying out RDC or store collections Operating and driving 7.5 tonne vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhering to traffic laws and regulations Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo when required Essential Skills Valid UK Category C1 licence Minimum 12 months'' experience driving C1 vehicles No more than six penalty points (minor infringements only) Valid UK CPC card and Digi card Good spoken and written English Punctual and excellent time-keeping Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience Previous commercial driving experience Previous multi-drop delivery experience Training Provided Site induction prior to first shift Apply If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as a 7.5 Tonne Driver, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more.
