Theres a permanent opportunity for a Project Construction Supervisor to join our projects team on our Houses of Parliament contract in Westminster, LondonScroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunityDalkia provide mechanical and electrical (M&E) maintenance services as well as a variety of small and medium project works for the Parliamentary Estate (approximately 17 sites) based in the Westminster area.The project team generally deliver low and medium sized projects (50k to 500k) for both the PMST and Strategic Estates (SE) teams. Implementation is primarily through a measured term contract utilising the PSA schedule of Rates for PMST and NEC3 for SE.A Project Construction Manager overseeing all the logistics of a construction project with good administration, H&S, project, and commercial awareness is required to support the project team at key stages of project delivery and conduct site visits and report to senior managers on project progress.The RoleManage the construction site on a day-to-day basis, including supervising the labour force, monitoring subcontractors, checking materials, inspecting work and overseeing quality control to ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget by setting benchmarks, agreeing budgets and monitoring progressPlan and coordinate a project from start to finish, including organising the schedule of work, costings and budget.
