Job Description

Our client, based in Belfast is a company that helps businesses with complete digital construction integration and data management. They offer a variety of services and technologies to help companies at every stage of their construction projects. They are seeking an experienced Application Software Consultant to work with the current team, lead implementation projects from initial client requirements gathering to final implementation and rollout of an enterprise document management application. This role will require the candidate to work on bespoke projects with design, configure, implement and support of the applications remotely or on-site for our customers in Ireland, UK and Scandinavia. Core Responsibilities: Youll become an expert in Meridian Enterprise Document management software and a go to person for all aspects of the application for our clients as well as our sales team. Working as a member of our Accruent Solutions Tem, the role involves three areas of work: Customer Consultation: Conduct requirement gathering to discuss and identify clients DMS system requirements and current maturity levels. Analyse customer business processes and recommend solutions with effort required. Produce technical documentation such as user requirements and functional specification documents. Solution design and implementation: Design and configure Document Management solutions using product portfolios, ensuring alignment with client requirements. Plan and implement the software, including installation, migration and configuration to meet client requirements. Define and configure workflows, user interfaces, access profiles, and metadata to standardize document classification and management. Training and support: Create and deliver training materials and workshops for end-users and client teams. Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients and project teams. Troubleshoot issues and advise clients on best practices for using the DMS. The Person: A positive motivated individual who enjoys technical challenges A confident communicator and a great team contributor A tenacious problem solver, an innovator, a creator of solutions Well-rounded, enthusiastic, disciplined, and organised Required Skills & Qualifications: Essential: A STEM or IT graduate 5 years+ real world enterprise software implementation experience Experience supporting users of enterprise software applications Experience configuring solutions using JavaScript, VBScript, VB.NET & SQL Experience conducting requirements gathering and documentation. Windows Servers & Networking experience Desired: Industry knowledge: Experience within regulated industries (e.g., engineering, construction, nuclear, finance) is highly desirable. Commercial awareness: Understanding the financial implications of consultancy activities and identifying opportunities for new work. Self-motivated: The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative. Team collaboration: A team-oriented approach with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
