However, there still remains a huge opportunity for us to continue to grow, and we are increasingly looking to innovate and differentiate our range and proposition across the area coupled with a thorough understanding of our customers' needs and reasons for purchase. We work closely with the biggest global brands, including Microsoft, Intel, Lenovo and HP and play a key role in helping support the development and launch of the product roadmap into the UK market. As an Assistant Buyer, you'll get to kickstart your buying career in this fast-paced role. You'll support our Buyer/Senior Buyer to bring a fantastic range of products to our customers. With the chance to help negotiate with suppliers, you'll get hands-on experience at the heart of a highly skilled team. Whatever direction you take in the future, you'll be well equipped to progress. Key Responsibilities: Helping to manage supplier relationships in line with the Windows Computing strategy Selecting and negotiating product ranges and pricing Keeping tabs on the competition so we can set competitive prices Analysing trading performance and recommending actions to drive our business You will need: Similar experience of being part of a buying function or a great working knowledge of Computing Excellent communication and relationship building skills To be organised, analytical and numerate with good judgment Strong commercial awareness and a sense of customer needs Proficiency in Excel Why join us: We know our people are the secret to our success.
