JOB TITLE: Groundworker INDUSTRY: Building and Construction START DATE: ASAP SALARY BAND: £19- £22 Per hour LOCATION: Bridgwater We are looking for skilled groundworkers to join a housing site in Bridgwater, starting ASAP with an on-going contract. Key Skills Proficient in excavation, trenching, and levelling Strong understanding of drainage systems and installation Ability to read and work from site drawings and levels Skilled in kerbing, edging, slabbing, and block paving Competent with concreting, shuttering, and formwork Experience installing ducts, services, and utilities Safe operation of plant and tools (e.g., dumper, roller, compactor, breaker) Good knowledge of health & safety and site compliance Key Responsibilities Prepare ground and foundations for construction work Excavate, trench, backfill, and compact to required levels Install drainage systems, manholes, soakaways, and pipework Lay kerbs, edgings, paving slabs, and block paving Carry out concreting including footings, pads, and slabs Build basic formwork and shuttering for concrete works Install ducting and service trenches for utilities If you are interested in this role please click 'apply' or call Jordan on (phone number removed) O’Neill and Brennan values diversity and promotes equality, All individuals will be treated in a fair and equal manner and in accordance with the law regardless of gender, marital status, race, religion, colour, age, disability or sexual orientation
