Yard Labourer Location: Eastleigh Salary: £26,750 Type: Full-Time, Permanent (40 hour week) What’s on Offer Annual bonus scheme Training, development and career progression Company pension Private medical cover Life assurance and wellbeing support 23 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing with service) We’re looking for a Yard Labourer to support day-to-day operations at a busy electrical equipment depot. This is a great entry-level role for someone early in their career who enjoys hands-on work and wants to develop technical skills within the power generation industry. What You’ll Do   Assist with the maintenance, cleaning and preparation of diesel generators and rental equipment Help load and unload equipment in the yard Support basic repairs and servicing tasks Collect generator readings (hours and fuel levels) from returned equipment Drive forklifts (training provided) Occasionally deliver or collect parts using company vehicles Maintain a clean, safe working environment and follow all Health & Safety procedures What You’ll Need   Full UK driving licence Forklift licence (or willingness to train) Experience in a workshop, yard, or hands-on environment (desirable) CSCS card preferred A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team Apply If this role is of interest, please click apply to send your CV or if you have any questions, contact Kirk at Pertemps (phone number removed)
