Duties * Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. * Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. * Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. * Load and unload goods, which may involve heavy lifting and manual handling. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered during transit. * Communicate with warehouse staff and management regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from recipients upon delivery. Qualifications * Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred. * Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience driving a commercial vehicle is an advantage. * Familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial. * Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes. * Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. * A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and ensuring customer satisfaction.
