Business Development Manager – Industrial Refrigeration (Heavy Commercial & Industrial) Salary: £70,000 basic + bonus Car: Hybrid / Electric company vehicle (or similar low-tax option) Location: UK-wide (open location, regular travel required) Industry: Industrial Refrigeration – Food, Process, Manufacturing We are recruiting an experienced Business Development Manager to join a leading player in the industrial refrigeration sector. This role focuses on securing and developing business across heavy commercial and industrial environments, with a particular emphasis on food manufacturing, process cooling, and large-scale industrial applications. This is not a supermarket refrigeration position — we are looking for someone with deeper industrial exposure. Key Responsibilities * Develop new business across the industrial refrigeration market (food, processing, manufacturing, distribution, etc.) * Manage and grow relationships with key clients and strategic accounts * Engage with end users, process engineers, project teams and industrial customers * Travel across the UK as required to meet customers and attend sites * Drive revenue growth and develop long-term partnerships Ideal Candidate Profile You must have: ✔ Strong background in industrial or heavy commercial refrigeration ✔ Experience working with food processing / industrial cooling equipment ✔ Ability to support design, costing and technical proposals ✔ Solid commercial acumen and experience closing high-value projects ✔ Confidence engaging with engineering teams and end users ✔ Willingness to travel across the UK Preferred but not essential: • Exposure to ammonia, CO₂, or industrial chillers • Experience in process cooling or large-scale industrial plant • Existing network in the food or manufacturing sectors What’s on Offer * £70,000 basic salary (depending on experience) * Competitive bonus structure * Hybrid or electric company car (low-tax options encouraged) * Opportunity to shape a key region with strong career potential * Work with a respected and established industrial refrigeration provider
