You will be responsible for evolving the scale, performance, security, and capabilities of our managed Kubernetes platform. You will provide a simple and seamless experience developers have come to expect from Linode.As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:Developing features and product enhancementsAdvocating and encourage cloud-native technologies and architectural approachesContributing towards building the roadmap for stable and scalable cloud-native offeringsEnabling a simple and seamless way for our customers to deploy and operate their Kubernetes clustersDeveloping best practices, knowledge sharing, and mentoringDo What You LoveTo be successful in this role you will:Have deep experience building Kubernetes Platform Clusters with scale and Cloud Native technologiesHave advanced knowledge of Kubernetes concepts such as Operator creation, Cluster API, and Container Network InterfacesHave experience with Container Runtimes (e.g. docker, containers, etc)Demonstrate significant experience with Linux, Go, PythonBuild your career at AkamaiOur ability to shape digital life today relies on developing exceptional people like you.
