We focus on optimizing the flow of perishables, eliminating waste at every turn – product, packaging, labor and transportation waste. Our reusable plastic products improve the quality of product delivered, create more efficient supply chains, and are more sustainable than single-use packaging.We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to support our Sales efforts at Tosca for the UK/Ireland region. This position is hybrid-based from our office in Dudley, UK.In this hunter-focused role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities to achieve revenue growth targets. You will identify potential clients, nurture relationships, and work cross-functionally to propose solutions that meet client needs. ResponsibilitiesIdentify and qualify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, market research, and lead generation Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate target markets and accountsNurture relationships and conduct discovery meetings to understand client needsCollaborate with internal teams to develop customized, compelling solution proposals Deliver product presentations and demos, handle objections, and negotiate termsClose new business deals that meet or exceed revenue quotasDevelop content and materials to support lead generation and sales enablementRepresent the company at conferences, trade shows and other eventsProvide input into marketing initiatives to improve lead qualityStay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needsYour profileYou preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree in business management, economics, marketing, or a related field.You have approximately 3 years of proven experience in B2B sales and business development, including:Demonstrated ability to identify and generate leads and sales opportunitiesStrong skills in negotiating and closing sales dealsAbility to understand customer needs and tailor product offerings accordinglyCompetence in managing and expanding sales territories effectivelySolid understanding of the market, industry trends, and competitive landscapeProven track record of meeting and exceeding targetsYou possess strong networking skills to build and maintain relationships within the industry.You are experienced in using CRM software to manage customer interactions and sales processes.You are fluent in English; additional language skills are considered a plus.You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a strong work ethic, and self-motivation.You can work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications.You are comfortable with a hybrid working model, with regular attendance at our office in Dudley (UK).You are willing to travel within the UK & Ireland up to 60% of the time.Our offerYou will have a permanent contract with a competitive remuneration package and attractive sales incentive plan.
