Management of all aspects of the Vehicle Supply Chain for UK including:Manage the contractual relationships between UK and its shipping agents, Port of Entry and Delivery companies, ensuring all contracts are in place and KPI’s being metWorking with Finance and Legal Dept to ensure all tax and legislative requirements are metDevelop the IT infrastructure between the factory and Dealer Network in order to deliver best in class functionality and accuracy of delivery schedulesLead all aspects of the supply chain, ensuring adequate vehicle coverage to meet sales targets, stock control measures and suitable ageing stock policiesIdentification of opportunities to improve existing service levels and costs from contractorsDevelopment of new facilities to match the growth aspirations of UKMain Activities/tasks:Supply Chain Management:Ensuring the timely availability of vehicles to the Dealer network in order for sales and profit targets to be metSupport the Deputy Head of Product & Planning with processing supplier invoices, PO/budget submissions and any other ad-hoc reportingSupport and work alongside Product team to ensure effective vehicle run out and new vehicle launch, ensuring that all gateways and milestones are achievedKey stakeholder in development of IT systems to support logistics interestsManagement of supplier KPI’sManage interface with industry bodies including SMMT and DVLA, sitting on relevant committees where appropriateDevelop and implement aged stock policies at all storage compounds including damage rectificationManage internal & external communications advising of current supply situations, including backorders and production constraintsProvide business insight and reporting on all key areas of supply (stocking, lead times, coverage etc)Manage timely submission of customs clearance documentation to allow shipments to land and offload
