To ensure excellence in everything we make, we have centred our disciplines around three essential crafts: science, strategy and creativity.OverviewTHE ROLEWe're looking for a Senior Medical Writer II.Our SMW2s work as part of our high-performing writing team, being accountable for scientific knowledge and content development on their assigned accounts, taking responsibility for management, support, and development of junior colleagues, and being seen as a leader of scientific knowledge and content creation.ResponsibilitiesYOU WILL:Take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of scientific contentAct as the go-to content expert for assigned accountsLine manage more junior writers (taking responsibility for their training, performance and development)Provide research and content support for pitch development and other new business initiativesSupport with resource management, training and recruitment of the medical writing teamProvide scientific and strategic counsel to clients and internal teamsEstablish strong relationships with external scientific experts and client teamsProactively drive organic growth and identify new business opportunitiesQualificationsWHO ARE YOUConsiderable experience within a medical communications agencyExperience creating a range of medical affairs and medical education deliverablesExperienced in a variety of therapy areasExperience with scientific and content leadership for global accountsResponsibility for maintaining high editorial and scientific standards across a teamDevelopment of writing talent through direct line management and trainingAn aptitude for identifying opportunities/threats and developing appropriate solutionsAn ability to motivate and inspire people, and elevate standards of content curationPlease note: Publicis Groupe operates a hybrid working pattern with full time employees being office-based three days during the working week.Additional InformationLangland has fantastic benefits on offer to all of our employees.
