Klöckner Pentaplast (kp) – Global Sustainable Packaging LeaderAre you a commercially minded legal professional with a passion for problem solving and supporting business teams?We’re looking for a Legal Counsel (1–3 PQE) to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract, working in a hybrid model (typically 1–2 days/week in our London office).This is a high-impact role where you will act as a trusted partner to the business, supporting legal initiatives across our global operations.What You’ll Be DoingLegal DocumentationPrepare, review and maintain a wide range of legal documents, contracts and agreements.Contract ManagementSupport the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, tracking and ongoing administration.Corporate GovernanceAssist with corporate records, board materials and compliance with regulatory obligations.Internal Stakeholder SupportWork closely with cross-functional departments to gather information and provide clear, practical legal support.TrainingOrganise and deliver legal training sessions to colleagues on policies, compliance and relevant legal topics.Record KeepingMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of legal activities, agreements and documentation.What You’ll BringQualified Lawyer (1–3 PQE or equivalent)In-house experience is not required — we are open to candidates from private practice.Strong drafting, interpretation and negotiation skills.Ability to work at pace and with minimal supervision.High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to turn legal complexity into clear, user-friendly guidance.A collaborative mindset — team player, flexible and commercially aware.Enthusiasm, curiosity, and the willingness to learn.Why kp?Klöckner Pentaplast is a global leader in sustainable rigid and flexible packaging, supporting food, pharma and industrial sectors in more than 18 countries.You’ll be joining an organisation that values integrity, accountability, innovation and people, with a genuine commitment to sustainability and long-term impact.
