Main Purpose of Role:Like the look of this opportunity Make sure to apply fast, as a high volume of applications is expected Scroll down to read the complete job description.AYBL are looking for in-house Junior Garment Technologist with knowledge across multi product to support our Garment Technologist and Design Team in the creation and development of new and innovative products to ensure they are fit for purpose, and fit is consistent to current product. Within in this role you will report to our Garment Technologist to assist and support in a range of garment technologist related work and take ownership of the organisation and day-to-day admin of the garment technology department.Responsibilities and Duties:Working closely with the Garment Technologists and Designers to develop branded products which are fit for purpose.Responsible for measuring all samples ahead of fit sessionsOrganise samples for fit sessions and assist in fit sessions, taking clear notes and imagesSupport our Garment Technologist in sending fit comments to suppliersResponsible for chasing all fit samples and production/shipment samplesReview production/shipment samples to confirm they adhere to all agreed standards of fit, quality, labelling and packaging.General day-to-day admin and organisation of the garment technology department including fit samples, QC reports, fabric testing etc And any other duties required by your manager.Person SpecificationMinimum 1 year previous experience in a Garment Technologist roleDegree in Garment Technology or similarGood knowledge of multi product fit across Womenswear and MenswearGood knowledge of pattern cutting and gradingGood relevant knowledge of fabric/materials/componentsExcellent attention to detailDriven work ethic, taking ownership of your work/roleAbility to work under pressure and to deadlinesPassionate about making a differenceGood organisational and planning skillsInterest in the fitness industry would be advantageousPerks Discretionary yearly bonus 20/25 days holiday + Bank Holidays + your birthday off Flexible working 35 working hours per week with 1 hour lunch break 50% staff discount across AYBL Group Social events Pension scheme Free on-site parking Free gym membership 100 gift card upon joiningEmployee wellbeing supportLocationOur home is located in Redditch, South Birmingham, with easy access routes to the M5/M42, a 20-minute walk to the train station, as well as many bus routes. xjdpvnf Not forgetting Arrow Valley Lake which is a stones throw away and a beautiful spot to get those steps in or enjoy your lunch with a view.
