Job Role Level 3 Teaching Assistant Location Knowsley Start Date January Salary 92 per day Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a Level 3 Qualification looking for a rewarding new role? We want you to join a fantastic school in Knowsley who are offering a long-term, full-time role to start in January until Summer within the Early Years Provision (2-year-old provision). Offer emotional, social, and pastoral support, helping children to develop confidence, independence, and positive self-esteem. Support children with early communication, language, and personal development, including routines such as turn-taking and listening. Assist children with additional needs, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), by following individual support plans and adapting activities. Help to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment that promotes positive behaviour and well-being. Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and parents/carers to support childrens progress and development. Contribute to the planning and implementation of activities that support childrens early learning goals and overall development. What we require: Previous experience working within Early Years Strong interpersonal and communication skills , with the ability to build warm, trusting relationships with children. A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting childrens learning, development, and well-being. An understanding of the additional challenges some young children may face and awareness of strategies to support their learning and development. Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the individual needs and routines of young children in an Early Years setting. A commitment to promoting equal opportunities and safeguarding. At least 6 months experience within the last 2 years ideally working with children within EYFS Enhanced DBS check on the online update service or willing to get one Ability to provide two professional childcare references within the last 2 years
