Role: Design ManagerSalary:£55,000 to £65,000 per annum (dependant on experience), plus benefitsHours:Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 16.00pm (start & finish times negotiable)Location:Commutable from, Eastleigh, Downton, Stockbridge, Salisbury, Southampton and pany:A small design and manufacturing company that specialist in Subsea Engineering company in Hampshire are seeking a Design Manager to lead their dedicated design team and supporting major renewables, telecoms, and power distribution projects.The role combines hands-on mechanical/structural design with team leadership. You will manage workload, guide designers, review work, ensuring quality across concept, detail design, and project delivery.Requirements:Engineering degreeStrong practical design abilityLeadership experience or the ability to step up and into a leading / management roleExperience of similar design work of equipment or machinery or steel related work projectsProficiency with AutoCAD, ExcelResponsibilities:Lead and mentor the design team, demonstrating strong leadership skillsPlan and deliver design work to ISO9001 standardsSupport bids, create design documents, manage design packagesReview/approve drawings, calculations, and reportsProvide technical support through build and commissioningImprove design processes and manage lessons learnedResearching, costing, specifying and ordering brought in and manufactured componentsIf this role sounds of interest, please apply now and send your most up to date CV to Vicky at TechNichols Resourcing to be considered.
